He's collaborated with retailers and overseas partners to drive sales, launch products and lead expansion to new markets such as Canada and Mexico. These experiences taught him to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and manage diverse operational roles developing skills essential for spearheading a startup. As the CEO of Aura Labs, Josias is committed to driving innovation and strategic growth. At 31 years young, he is passionate about the next chapter of his professional journey and is excited to lead Aura Labs in developing solutions that will redefine the smart home industry.

As a CTO of Aura Labs, Abu Hafiz is responsible for developing the company's long-term technology vision and strategy, overseeing the technical teams and leading product development. Prior to co-founding Aura Labs, Abu Hafiz was working at Amazon based out of Seattle office as a Principal Technical Program Manager in Alexa Smart Home team under Amazon Devices business division. He was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new Smart Home experiences across all GUI surfaces including Alexa mobile app, various Echo Show devices, Fire TV and 3P devices. Before Amazon, he also worked for various mobile phone companies such as Nokia, LG, Sony, ZTE and Alcatel and managed the product development and business development for these company’s USA business divisions. Overall he has 20 years of progressive experience working in various Wireless, Smart Home and Consumer Electronics companies in USA.

Darak Chen joins Aura Labs as Co-Founder and CPO. As the Chief Product Officer at Aura Labs, Darak Chen is responsible for leading the company’s product hardware innovation. With over a decade of experience in consumer electronics, Darak has brought numerous groundbreaking products to market, specializing in smart home devices and wearables. His technical expertise in hardware engineering, manufacturing optimization, and quality assurance drives Aura Labs' product excellence. Outside of his professional life, Darak is a skilled artisan, creating unique pieces in watchmaking, leatherwork, and woodworking. He also enjoys golfing, is an avid camper and is passionate for photography, among other hobbies. His global perspective and creative passion fuel Aura Labs' commitment to delivering cutting-edge products that enhance everyday life.
